Terranimationby ~DiG-IT21

Flash / Animations

Yahooooooooo! My first Terragen animation AND my first Flash project. This took me six (6) days to render and I don't know how many weeks to animate being my first time to use Flash MX. I started on Tuesday night around 8:00 PM, and it finished rendering at 2:00 AM Monday morning. I had interuptions from that time onward in trying to animate the 366 frames. The original resolution was 1024 x 768, but I reduced all the frames down to 800 x 600. Well I hope you all enjoy it, I think it's supposed to play in a loop. I am not going to do this again anytime soon, at least until i can get a better machine that has an OS that supports load balancing on my processors.

Hmm, the resolution of the animation seems to be affecting my computer. If you experience any slowdowns from viewing this animation please don't hesitate to post a comment or a note and I will answer as soon as possible. YES YES I know the camera got too close to the edge of the world, that would explain the big black splotch in the middle of the screen near the end.

My computer is going slooow now.
Also that animation is really good I thought that it was 3D.

Well, it is. I rendered the frames in Terragen using a plug in called "Cam Path". I then used Flash MX to put the frames together.
